Artist Statement

VISIBLE - INVISIBLE - VISIBLE

"The focus of my artistic work is the abstract painting. I take inspiration from nature, environment, the everyday, the cosmic. The creative process begins with gestural abstracted forms on the canvas, followed by confrontation with a pictorial idea, until the moment when the process starts developing its unstoppable momentum and creates its own space. Visible traces of paint, forms and structures "layer by layer" define the creative process. the original image idea may have dissolved by this point."
